about
Our goal is to create a central resource for organizations and causes using the best practices of online advocacy to support their mission. We strive to make this directory as thorough and useful as possible for organizations, volunteers, educators, constituents, and donors.
This site is the brainchild of online advocacy specialist Rochelle Robinson. She started this project in an effort to centralize and highlight the numerous web sites working towards positive progressive goals.
Social Change Websites is arranged by category and state in descending order. All sites are evaluated on content, design quality, usability, and interactivity.
FAQ
How can I help this project?
If you find this site to be useful, we'd really appreciate a link to us, tell a friend or submit a website. The more sites listed in Social Change Websites the more valuable it becomes to the entire grassroots community.
Will my submission automatically be added?
All submissions require approval. Approval does NOT constitute an agreement, endorsement, or support of any cause. We don't accept all sites, so please don't take it personally should your site not be accepted. We accept websites from the right and the left as long as they are the best.
Do I have to be a nonprofit (501c3 status)?
No, the best thing about Social Change Websites is we support all types of organizations, corporations, and campaigns working to make this country a better place. We only ask that all submissions be from U.S. based entities.
Why does my submission have to be based in the US?
We believe we have to get our own house in order before we can help other countries. Think about it.
Can I become a partner?
Social Change Websites would like to grow and needs your help to make it happen.
